The character, Ellen in my high school romance, How I Fall, has grown up with hemiparesis sometimes called hemi-paralysis. These teens are often in called HEMI kids. It's a common form of Cerebral Palsy and it affects the left or the right side of the body in varying degrees. (hence the term, hemi).
